So, i created my epic games account 2 years ago and did not verify my email, because i never used it. then i started playing fortnite 6 months ago and i don‘t have email access anymore.. I accidentally linked my epic games account to a non existent email address. now that i would like to verify my epic games account i realized it was impossible so i created an email address with the information of the accidental email address.. I downloaded fortnite on switch and linked it to my epic games account. i tried to then link my xbox account so my battle pass transfers, but my xbox account is linked to a different account. when i log into that account, it tells me i need to verify my email to unlink the account..
In this video, i will show you how to verify your email address with your fortnite account (epic games account). essentially, you must send a notification to your email.. Noticed that i was somehow logged out of the epic games launcher. logged back in and verification continued and install completed. if you're logged in and encountering the issue, try logging out and back in.. If using email authentication, a code will simply be sent to the user’s email address. this code can then be entered into the epic games website to verify that the email is secure and complete.
